  1. Where is the Convention taking place?

    • The Washington Hilton will be the home of the 143rd Supreme Convention. It is located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood and nearby public transit. Reservations will be done through the Supreme Council’s registration, so please do not contact the hotel in advance.

    • Reservations at the Washington Hilton for delegates and non-delegates are handled by the Supreme Council and there will be a separate registration to reserve a hotel room through the Supreme Council.

  2. When is the Convention? 

    • The business portion of the convention is taking place between August 5-7, 2025. Tours and activities sponsored by the DC State Council will begin on August 2. You must register with the Supreme Council to attend.

  3. How can I get around DC?

    • The best way to get around Washington, DC is the Metro. The convention hotel is located a few blocks north of the Dupont Circle station on the Red Line. Click here to learn more.

    • Uber and Lyft as well as taxis are also readily available throughout the city and at area airports as well as union station.

    • Washington, DC has a walkability score of 76, according to Walk Score, a company that ranks cities based on walkability. This means that most errands can be done on foot. 

  4. How do I get a tour of the White House or Capitol Building?

    • Tours of the White House are only available through your U.S. Representative. You can learn more about how to get a tour of the White House by visiting the White House Website and you can click here to contact your member of the House of Representatives.

    • The U.S. Capitol is home to both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. Tours of this magnificent building are available to all through the Capitol Visitor Center. U.S. Citizens may contact their representative or senators for tours as well. Walk-ins at the Capitol Visitor Center can be accommodated, but reservations are highly-recommended.   5. Are the Washington Nationals in town?

    • Yes, they are. They will be facing the Milwaukee Brewers August 1-3. You can learn more about their schedule by clicking here.

    • Nationals Park is located on the Green Line via the Navy Yard-Ballpark station.

    • The Convention team is offering an opportunity for a group ticket and transportation to the game on Sunday, August 3.

  6. Can I visit the Knight’s Tower at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception?

    • Public access to specifically the Knight’s Tower at the Basilica is not available. However, you can visit the Basilica 7 days a week. More information can be found here. 

  7. What is the Cancellation policy for items purchased from the DC State Council?

    • All cancellations for tour tickets, hospitality registration, pins, polo shirts, or advertisements must be made in writing to convention@dcknights.org or by using the online form by 5:00pm ET on June 20, 2025 in order to receive a refund. After this date and time, no refunds will be issued.

  8. Can I transfer my registration or tour ticket to another person?

    • If you would like to transfer your ticket/registration to another attendee, please contact us by July 31, 2025 at 5:00pm ET (however no refund will be issued).

  9. How can I register for the States Dinner or Ladies Luncheon?

  10. Is there a hotel shuttle to/from the airport?

    • There is no hotel shuttle to/from the Washington Hilton to/from Reagan National. The cost of an uber/lyft can vary depending on the time of day but in general it can be $27-35. You can take the Washington Metro from the airport via the yellow and blue lines, but you will need to transfer at Gallery Place or Metro Center to the red line to take you to the Dupont Circle stop, which is then about a 10-12 min walk to the hotel.
